Hello, my name is Agostinho, and I am currently making a transition from the education sector into the Information security field. I’ve obtained a couple of certifications and have been running through technical scenarios and solving cyber labs so I can improve my skills, gain exposure, and help others who are also trying to learn.

I am a problem solver, able to quickly identify challenges and produce effective solutions. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also completed several online courses in cybersecurity fundamentals and ethical hacking. I love security because it allows me to safeguard valuable information from malicious actors attempting to cause unnecessary harm to people and organizations. Long-term, I’d love to develop a security and hacker mindset to play my part in defending against the constantly evolving threat actor tactics and techniques.
